The Caen Memorial
The Caen Memorial is a museum mainly covering the history of the Second World War, and was the brainchild of Jean-Marie Girault in 1969. This museum, which is entirely devoted to the theme of peace, is in Caen, France, a city close to the beaches which were the scene of the D-Day landings of 6 June 1944.
